Chairman of VR volunteers his time to help the next generation
On 17th December 2015, Martin Crowther along with other business personnel from various parts of Kent attended Sandwich Technology School to give students valuable experience of the interview process.
The advice they gained from business people like Martin Crowther of VR Sani-Co Ltd was seen as priceless. John Tranter from EBP Kent summed up how much appreciated Martin Crowther’s time and experience was for these students.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your incredible support at the Sandwich Technology School’s ‘Interview Day,’ on the 17th December 2015. It is a fairly simple incarnation, layout-wise for us in comparison to other days we put on in schools, but we could never have expected the enormity of positivity that resulted from the wonderful work provided by volunteers such as yourself. Quite simply the students gained a huge amount out of it, both in a confidence sense, but also in their experience of speaking to someone in a more one-to-one setting.
We are collating the evaluations which so far have been incredible – believe me, the time that you gave up has proven invaluable and genuinely made a difference. If the students can continue to ride this wave, then there will assuredly be some very employable students coming out of the school in the near future.
