So as you may or may not know VR Sani-Co Ltd have gone into partnership with a fantastic charity – Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust http://www.jostrust.org.uk We are well on the way to hosting our very first event for the charity by holding a golf day on October 9th at Stonelees Golf Course in Ramsgate Kent. However myself and my colleague Phil Greene (also the hubby!) decided we wanted to add to the sponsorship pot by challenging ourselves so we decided to sign up for Leeds Castle in Kent Sprint Triathlon in June next year!!
This was a big ask especially for myself (Jo) considering the last time I rode a bike I was about 8 riding my brothers chopper around the garden! However training is going surprisingly well. The early morning starts are a killer but the sights of Herne Bay are somewhat breath taking at times. You see things that you never get to see in the hustle and bustle of the day! Sunrises are amazing and helps with the running/jogging.
